Senior Housing Management Worker – Southwark


London, Borough of Southwark

Salary: £28,150 per annum (inclusive of £4000 London Weighting)

Plus an on call allowance of £20 per night £25 for weekends and Bank holidays (On Call duties as part of the out of hours On Call rota)

Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, with some flexibility to meet the requirements of the post.

The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the successful management of a designated portfolio of properties and residents.  Under the supervision and direction of the Housing Management Project Team Leader, you will support the delivery of property based Home projects through the provision of a range of housing management functions into the existing and growing organisational property portfolio.

You will manage and support the Housing Management Worker to ensure property health and safety obligations are met, the properties are suitably decorated and furnished, repairs and maintenance is scheduled, rents and service charges are collected, notices and sanctions are issued to residents where required and void properties are turned around in accordance with the organisational policies, procedures and timescales. Ideally you will have some experience as a Housing Worker or Support Worker, including some knowledge of health and safety, finances, risk assessment, safeguarding, and oversight of a portfolio of properties with housing management duties.
