Basis Beds Project Team Leader



Starting salary is £28,000 per annum. The band goes up to £31,000 per annum pro rata, however, this is dependent on annual performance reviews

Full time role:
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Oasis Community Housing, is a Christian charity responding to homelessness and disadvantage, working with people of all faiths and none, providing housing, employability support and other specialised services to develop life skills that will enable people to live successful independent lives.


This is an exciting opportunity to join our Crisis Services Team in leading the Basis Beds project to make a real difference to the lives of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. You will use your knowledge of homelessness, in particular housing first approaches to lead a team supporting a large number of people in our dispersed housing first programme of accommodation. This will include line management of support staff  The aim is to support people towards independence and a future free from the challenges of multiple disadvantage.


We are seeking a candidate with a positive outlook and experience of working with people experiencing multiple disadvantage in a paid or unpaid capacity. An understanding of the benefits system, mental ill health and addiction are desirable. Safeguarding of adults at risk of abuse and neglect and domestic violence issues are essential. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to build cooperative working relationships. Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field is desirable.
