Business Development Manager

North East England, with flexibility to travel

Salary:
£30,282 per annum. The band goes up to £33,527 per annum, however, this is dependent on annual performance reviews

Full time role:
37 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday but with the ability to be worked flexibly.

Job Purpose:

Oasis Community Housing supports over 1300 people every year who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. To do this we need to constantly uncover and secure new income streams which can sustain and grow our services.

Having developed our fundraising activity over the last 5 years, we are now investing in this exciting new role that will focus on sources of income outside of traditional fundraising. Through this role we aim to significantly up our game on tendering for and winning new contracts that will sustain our current work and grow it in our chosen locations. The role-holder will be required to work closely with members of our fundraising team, our Executive Team and other members of the staff team across the organisation in order to prospect for, plan and deliver new tenders.  

This is a proactive and innovative role, in which we expect the role-holder to be not only reactive to tender opportunities but to actively look for opportunities that align with our mission and strategy: both statutory opportunities as well as innovative sources of potential income, including social enterprise.

This will be a critical role within our organisation, with huge scope to grow and develop the range of work that it covers.
