Housing Management Worker (London)

Salary:
£26,794 (inclusive of London Weighting of £4,000 per annum)

Full time role:
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with some flexibility to meet the post

Job Purpose:

This post provides housing management functions to Oasis Community Housing supported housing projects in the London Borough of Southwark in the delivery of housing management to a portfolio of supported accommodation, which consist of both shared and single person accommodation. Working with colleagues in the Housing Management Team, you will ensure health and safety obligations are met, the properties are suitably decorated and furnished, repairs and maintenance is scheduled as required, rents and service charges accounts are monitored and managed effectively, and voids are filled in accordance with the organisational policies and procedures and undertake other housing related tasks as required.

 

The existing property portfolio consists of 9 owned and managed properties of shared and single person accommodation. The properties are located in the Borough of Southwark and Croydon and have a variety of purposes, and residents.

 

You will be qualified to NVQ2 or equivalent in a relevant subject and have experience as a supported housing worker and/or housing worker to including experience of health and safety, arrears management, working as part of a team, and safeguarding.  An understanding of the benefits system is also desirable.  Prior experience and oversight of a portfolio of properties and housing management responsibilities are essential for this role.
