Are you passionate about making a difference, supporting young people and preparing them for increased independence? Do you have experience of working in supported housing projects with young people?

Our Southwark Service provides supported accommodation to young people experiencing homelessness.  The main office of the project is situated at No.3 Peckham with a number of satellite offices across the Borough.  The service provides support, housing and resettlement services for young people in Southwark who have the status of being looked after children or care leavers, or young people at risk of homelessness. The primary age group is 16-21, however individuals are accepted up to the age of 25 on a case-by-case basis. This role will involve supporting both female and male young people.

To join us you will need to demonstrate a holistic approach to support, and an understanding of the pressures facing young people, particularly those linked to homelessness.  You will have the ability to engage and motivate young people, to use your initiative and work flexibly in a demanding environment.

In return, you will benefit from a supportive, creative environment and have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills. We are a growing charity and we believe staff are the foundation stone to the success of the charity and so we do everything we can to make sure they feel valued, supported, engaged and developed.

Oasis Community Housing is a Christian response to homelessness and disadvantage, providing housing, support and other specialised services. We want to share power and responsibility with those accessing our services in meaningful, safe and accessible ways, and to create an environment where everyone can contribute.
