Oggy Oggy Oggy! Join #TeamOasis for the Great North Run in 2025. Beloved by thousands, the run is the most iconic, and probably best, half marathon in the UK. Starting in Newcastle, you will cross the Tyne Bridge as the Red Arrows fly over, before making your way through Gateshead down to the coast and the finish line at South Shields, cheered on all the way by the thousands of spectators who will encourage you to the end where you will be met in the charity village by our incredibly grateful team for a cuppa and a well-deserved chocolate bar.

Fitness level: Half Marathon, 13.1 miles

Get involved

Registration fee is £63 per person; enter individually or as part of a team with family, friends or work colleagues. Each runner will receive a running vest, fundraising pack and once you have made it across the finish line we will be in the charity village to welcome you with refreshments.

Let us know if you have secured your own place in the general ballot and would like to run for us, we can send you a vest and support you with your fundraising.

Fundraising target

We are asking our runners to raise a minimum of £250 to give hope to people facing homelessness. We appreciate that raising sponsorship in the current climate can be challenging so we aim to support all our runners to help them to reach their own personal fundraising target.
